In The Hospital

Today we start a five day regimen of chemo. We were supposed to start on Monday, but his numbers were too low. Things got progressively better through the week and they made the call yesterday to bring him in to start the treatment. Unfortunately, the hospital was completely full yesterday, so we had to wait until today.

I am going out of town today to take care of some business. We have put it off and had planned on my going tonight since Caleb would have been coming out of the hospital today before the delay. Holly is insisting that I go do what I need to do and that she will spend the weekend with Caleb. The more I think about it, the more I realize having a break from the boys will be good. She is off all next week for spring break and our anniversary is next Friday, so I’ll have to make it up to her. She rocks.

We don’t know what room we’ll be in yet, so if you are coming by just ask for the room for Matthew Murray (Caleb is his middle name). Thanks again for all the love, prayers, and support. We are working through and counting down the weeks until this is all over!

Today’s verse – “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
