Caleb went in yesterday all packed and ready for 5 days in the hospital. His counts were the lowest they have been yet, so they decided to wait until after Christmas to continue the chemo. So Caleb will be able to fully enjoy Christmas this year.
The Benefits of Coffee event Saturday night at Genesis Church was awesome! There were so many talented folks that shared their music with us all. We even had a comedian on hand! Harrison was hilarious with his Christmas jokes. Everyone had a good laugh. I want to thank you all for coming out and supporting us. We felt the love. Holly is not one prone to tears, and even she was weepy when she looked around at all the people that were there. We were truly touched by your love and generosity.
This week, I am fighting a severe cold. Holly and Joshua had it last week and I am praying against it for Caleb. The doctors did say with the colds we have had that Caleb could have caught it in his bone marrow and that is why his counts are low. He has shown no other symptoms and I am praying against it with him.
Today’s Scripture – “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“ Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” -Luke 2:10-14
Merry CHRISTmas!!
