Today, Caleb is on day four of a five day chemo treatment. He is doing much better than he usually does. When he woke up, he told me he did need any nausea medicine, but I made him take one anyway. His energy is way up and he has only gotten sick a couple of times this week. Right now, he is playing against his brother on the WII in the clinic and you would not even know he was on chemo. Thank You, Lord!
We have today and tomorrow in the clinic and then a couple of days next week. Then we have two weeks in a row of inpatient chemo where he will be in the hospital. That means we will be spending Holly’s spring break in the hospital. It’s not what we would like, but we want to get this chemo knocked out so we can get on with the rest of our lives as victors over cancer! We are victors; not victims!
