This Is Our Week

We got out of the hospital last night and got Caleb settled into his room. He is still a bit nauseous, but seems to be feeling a little better this morning. He was able to keep down a peanut butter and honey sandwich last night and is eating some toast right now. He has eaten very little the last few days because of the chemo.

I took down the YouTube video that was embedded on the previous post. Someone said that one of the related videos at the end showed two men kissing. Since I can’t control what YouTube puts there and am certainly not going to have any of that trash on this page, I just took it down and will simply upload any future videos directly into the website without YouTube. I apologize to anyone that saw that.

We are excited about the timing of the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival being at our church – New Hope Worship Center – this week. There have been well-documented and indisputable miracles that have taken place in their services; mostly healing miracles. You can see many of these miracles on their YouTube page. The timing of this is just surreal to me; how this is coming right on the heels of several attacks of illness on some of the children of our church. There is great expectation in our church that God has set this revival up in perfect timing and we are believing for a mighty move of God. If you or a loved one needs a touch from God, I urge you to be there this week. You can get more information at http://www.nhwc.org.

Caleb begins his injections again today. He dreads this more than anything else related to treatment. I just got a phone call as I was typing this post that the clinic wants to meet with him at 11AM. They have a psychiatrist that has some ideas to try to help keep Caleb calm during the injections, so we are definitely interested to see what he has to say.

Today’s verses – “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:23-24
